The public is invited to a ribbon cutting on Friday, January 17, at 12:00 p.m. to welcome Willow Sage Health & Wellness to Alexander County. Alexander County Economic Development is working with the new business on the ribbon cutting.
“I just want to help people by providing a holistic approach to living,” said Howell.
One product offered by Willow Sage Health & Wellness is homeopathic hormone balancing drops called “Slenderiiz.” These hormone-free drops are designed to assist in the release of visceral fat and subcutaneous fat, curb hunger and appetite, assist with weight management, support digestive health, and aid the body’s endurance and stamina.

Formerly located in Conover, Howell moved her business to Taylorsville to be closer to her home in Vashti. Howell has been a midwife for the past 11 years and she also works in healthcare in Forsyth County.
“I have been in healthcare for over 20 years trying hard to help others feel better and educate them about a healthy lifestyle,” said Howell. “I have been studying holistic and naturopathic health in efforts to gain more knowledge for my own health.”
Howell said that more and more people are looking for natural ways to help with ailments and issues, and her goal is to give those people access to other options at reasonable prices.
