A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Friday, June 20 at the new Little Japan restaurant, located on the corner of Hwy. 127 and Rink Dam Road in Bethlehem. Little Japan serves a variety of Japanese dishes, including a fabulous sushi menu.
Owners Evelyn Palacios and Steven Saephan have been operating restaurants for more than 20 years. They were friends for a long while before they decided to open a business of their own in the former bank building.

“We knew Bethlehem was the place to open a good Japanese restaurant,” said Palacios. “We took out the vault to make room for cold storage, plus we turned the bar area into a hibachi grill and sushi bar.”
Property owners Todd and Tennille Baker, with T&T Rentals, were seeking a family restaurant with excellent food and top-shelf service to locate in the building.
“We are thankful to the people of this community for supporting us,” said Palacios. “We promise we will provide outstanding food with great customer service in a healthy environment.”
Hours of operation are Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. with options to dine in, or call in and pick up from the convenient drive-thru window. The menu is online on Google and Facebook.
