ALEXANDER COUNTY, NC (June 10, 2019) – A ribbon cutting was held in conjunction with the grand opening of Nickel Pickle’s Sweet Treats Bakery on Saturday, June 8.
A large crowd turned out for the event to see the new bakery and to taste some delectable cakes, pies, and cupcakes made by owner Nici Rudisill. Alexander County Commission Vice-Chairman Ronnie Reese welcomed Alexander County’s newest business during the ribbon cutting.
Store hours are: summer hours (beginning the last day of school) – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; winter hours (beginning the first day of school) – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The new bakery is located at 224 School Drive in Taylorsville, just across from the main entrance to Alexander Central High School.
