This episode of the Alexander County EDC’s “Business Spotlight” features Little Stitches Embroidery, located at 658 East Main Avenue in Taylorsville.
Gary Herman, Small Business Development Coordinator for the EDC, interviews store owner Traci Carrigan Fox, who opened the store in September 2016.
Fox has years of experience in embroidery, monogramming, and screen printing, and decided to start her own business. She and her staff can add a monogram to about any item. Plus, they do custom embroidery and screen printing for sports teams, church groups, community causes, and more.
But the store is much more than the name implies. Little Stitches also has about 15 vendors who sell a wide variety of goods, including children’s clothing, women’s clothing, homemade crafts, food, jewelry, and more.
Hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
