If you are interested in getting a job at the new Borealis Compounds facility in Alexander County, the company has announced that it is now accepting resumes via email.
Resumes should be emailed to JobsUSA@borealisgroup.com. Recruitment is expected to begin in the fall of 2017, and company representatives will then contact those who have submitted resumes.
The announcement of Borealis Compounds coming to Alexander County was made at the May 23, 2017 meeting of the Board of Commissioners. Borealis Compounds, Inc., a supplier of plastic materials to the automotive industry, has purchased the 50,000 square foot Alexander Railroad Shell Building, and plans to initially invest $15 million in the new plant and create 37 jobs.
While compensation will vary by position, average salaries for the new jobs at the new plant will be $40,125, above the current average annual wage in Alexander County of $30,631.
